Cookie Policy

Last Updated / Effective Date: June 28, 2026

You can change your cookie choices at any time:

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files a website places on your device when you visit. They let the site remember your actions and preferences (such as your cookie choices) over time and help the owner understand how the site is used. “Similar technologies” include pixels, local storage, and SDKs that work in comparable ways. We refer to all of these as “cookies” in this Policy.

Cookies can be first-party (set by roshanamarujala.com) or third-party (set by another service, such as Google). They can be session cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or persistent cookies (which remain for a set period).

Current status: this Site currently sets no analytics or advertising cookies. Google Analytics is configured but not active, so the Google cookies listed below are not set unless and until analytics is enabled and you opt in. Only an essential, first-party entry that remembers your privacy choice is used.

3. Specific Cookies Table

The analytics cookies below are set by Google only after you consent.

If Google AdSense is added later, this table will be updated with the relevant advertising cookies and durations before they are set.

4. How to Manage Cookies

You can manage cookies two ways:

  1. On this Site: use (in the footer) to accept or reject categories at any time, or to withdraw consent.
  2. In your browser: block or delete cookies via your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may break parts of the Site.

You can also use a browser or extension that sends the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal; we detect and honour it automatically (see the Privacy Policy). To opt out of Google Analytics across all sites, install Google’s add-on: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

5. Third-Party Cookies (Google Analytics)

We use Google Analytics 4 to measure Site usage. GA4 sets the cookies listed above and processes pseudonymous data on Google’s infrastructure. We have configured GA4 to anonymise IP addresses (GA4 does not log or store full IP addresses; the IP is used transiently for coarse geolocation and then discarded), to retain data for 14 months, and to operate under Google Consent Mode v2 so that Google’s tags respect your consent choices. Google’s processing as a third party is described at https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners/.

6. Changes to Cookie Policy

We will update this Cookie Policy when our use of cookies changes or the law requires. The “Last Updated” date will change, and for material changes we will re-request your consent through the banner.
